Competition Information

We want noteworthy, creative and unusual images that highlight the older historical sections of Oklahoma’s Historical Route 66.
Images can be from any portion of the Historical Route 66 as it travels through Oklahoma. We want the back roads and off the beaten path treasures. Images can be of still traveled sections or retired sections that no longer support traffic. This does not include major highways, interstates, or toll portions of new 66. Competition administrator(s), if necessary, will make the final decision of whether an entry meets this stipulation.
Images must be photographed between January 1, 2024 and October 15, 2025.
Entries must be received between September 15, 2025 and October 15, 2025.
Entry fee is $25
You may enter as many images as you wish. There is a separate fee for each image.
Images must be in a 8.5” x 11” horizontal format.
Method of Entry: Entries must be submitted through the submission form below.
Winning photos will be displayed in the Oklahoma Route 66 Centennial Calendar produced by, and as a fundraiser for, the Oklahoma non-profit Red Fork Depot and Route 66 Village, and maybe used for further promotion of the venue.
Entries must include a signed registration form, complete with initialed acknowledgment(s) and entry fee.
Images must be entered into one of 12 following categories.
